During the flank of the Arete des Cosmiques, jason shows a typical alpine style “anchor” – simply a sling looped around a jagged piece of rock. This was fairly typical, and we felt mostly ok with it, given the 1000+ foot drop Jason’s heels were hanging over in this pic.
